Minecraft Sniffer is one of the mobs that were presented at the Minecraft Live 2022 Mob community Vote and its winner. The Mojang team presents Sniffer as an ancient mob, a species of fictional dinosaurs, that was long considered extinct. But you as the Minecraft player need to revive it by finding its eggs underground or underwater. Once Sniffer will be hatched it will sniff the ground and seek out plants and seeds digging them up for the player to collect. Devs even hinted that Sniffer can help discover brand new plants, so not only the Sniffer mob will be added to the Minecraft game.
