Evangelion Unit-01 also known as EVA-01 TEST TYPE is a giant artificial human that is piloted by Shinji Ikari in the Evangelion anime series. EVA-01 has brown skin that is hidden under its armor called type-b gear and used to limit its real straight. As its prototype, EVA-01 armor does not have the bluish armor plates that the following models have. EVA 01 armor is purple, with green stripes on the arms and on its back.
