Civilizations around the world have been celebrating the start of each new year for at least four millennia and today most New Year festivities begin on New Year's Eve on December 31. It's the last day of the Georgian calendar and the celebration continues into the early hours of New Year's Day on January 1. Following the traditions of the New Year, people eat lots of special New Year's food, attend parties, and of course launch fireworks. Our white little cat is so tired of the old 2022 year so he just got on one of the New Years' fireworks and already heading to see the year 2023 as fast as he possibly can.
