The lightsaber or as it is called by people unfamiliar with Star Wars a laser sword was a weapon used by the Jedi and the Sith. A Lightsaber consists of a plasma blade, powered by kyber crystal, and a metal hilt. This weapon requires much skill and training to master and is greatly enhanced when used in conjunction with the Force. And the main difference between Jedi and Sith is in the bond with kyber crystals that Jedi have. Some in the galaxy believed that only Jedi could use lightsabers.
