Mega Man is a star of his own series of games called Mega Man, he is also known as Rockman in Japan or just Mega for short. The first Mega Man games were released in 1987. He was given his Japanese name Rock by his creator Doctor Thomas Light creating a fun combination with his sister Roll. But the name was changed to Mega Man after he was modified into a fighting robot. Maga Man's initial foe was a mad scientist Dr. Willy and his army of robots, and Mega Man stopped him from taking over the world with his Maga Buster arm cannon, and ability to copy fallen robot's super weapons.
