Captain Steven Grant Rodgers aka Captain America is a World War II veteran and a founding member of the Avengers, and Earth's first known superhero. Gowing up Rogers suffered from many health problems and even was rejected from United States Army when the United States entered World War II. When he got rejected several times Rogers volunteered for Project Rebirth, where here received Super Soldier Serum. The serum greatly increased Rogers'physical abilities to superhuman levels. On a mission, Rogers crashed into the Arctic and spent sixty-six years frozen and was eventually found by S.H.I.E.L.D. in the early 21st century.
