Venom Symbiote or just Venom is a symbiotic organism from another planet that feeds on adrenaline and grants spider-like powers to its owner in Marvel Universe. Symbiotes do not exclusively bond to one being a number of people have worn the symbiote over the years, taking along with its general name Venom. The most notable symbiote carries are former Army Ranger Lee Price who wanted to become a supervillain, Army Corporal Flash Thompson that used the symbiote as an agent of the US government and a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and a criminal Mac Gargan who operated Venom Symbiote as a member of Dark Avengers.
