The Doctor's TARDIS aka the ship or the box is a primary transportation vessel that is capable of traveling through space and time in the Doctor Who TV series. The Doctor voyaged all across the universe in this vessel from the Big Bang to the end of the universe. Tardis is capable of traveling between parallel realities in spite of the fact it was never designed to do so. The TARDIS eventually landed in London in the 1960s, where the ship's chameleon circuit caused it to disguise itself as a police box and became stuck in the form as the Eleventh Doctor deliberately destroyed the circuit.
