Pennywise the Dancing Clown is the main character and the evil-doer in Stephen King's horror novel IT, and its TV and Movie adaptations with the same name. But in other Stephen King novels, Pennywise also appears in minor roles, like in the Tommyknockers, 10/22/63, and the Dreamcatcher. Pennywise is a horrific and malevolent cosmic entity that is billions of years old, that reached The Earth to feed, and now lives in the sewers of New England town Derry and awakening every twenty-seven years to prey on the town's children and feed on their fears.
