Dinosaurs have evolved in many diverse shapes and sizes, from a scary giant spinosaurus to the small Microraptor which has a size of a small chicken. Dinosaurs survived and lived in many ecosystems and one of the reasons for their success is that most of them had straight back legs perpendicular to their bodies. Even the name of the species dinosaur means terrible lizard, and like lizards and snakes, they were reptiles. Some of those dinosaurs were carnivores and some of them were peaceful plant-eaters.
