Power Stars are also known as simply Stars, they are collectible powerups in the Mario game series. Their looks are similar to Super Stars, but they are different as Power Stars can grant Mario access to more levels in-game. Power Stars were introduced in Super Mario 64 and were continued in Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Pinball Land, Super Smash Bros., Captain Toad, and so on. Power Stares are scattered throughout the various courses, most of which pertain to a mission.
