Kuromi and My Melody are rivals in cute Sanrio's character world, they are even dressed opposite, Kuromi has a black Jester's hat while My Melody is dressed in a cute pink hat that covers her ears, but other than that they both look very cute. My Melody does not consider Kuromi a rival or an enemy, she sees them as friends. Because Kuromi and My Melody actually do not hate each other. Kuromi blames My Melody for some innocent mistakes she made they were just children.
