Naruto Uzumaki is a shinobi of the Konohagakure's Uzumaki clan and a main character of the Naruto anime series. Naruto became the jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails, one of the nine-tailed beasts, on the day he was born. The Third Hokage made special arrangements for Naruto's father Minato Namikaze to preserve Kushina's seal containing the Nine-Tails while she gave birth to Naruto in a remote location assisted by the midwives and Anbu. A masked man Tobi tracked down their location, killed Anbu and the midwives, and tried to capture Naruto, but Minato teleported him to a safe house.
