Poliwhirl is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. It is a dual-type Water/Psychic Pokémon introduced in the first generation games Pokémon Red and Green. Poliwhirl is the evolved form of Poliwag and the pre-evolved form of Poliwrath. Poliwhirl is a bipedal, frog-like Pokémon with a smooth, blue body. It has large, round eyes with black pupils and a small, triangular mouth. Poliwhirl has a short, curled tail and webbed feet. It has three finger-like protrusions on each hand.
