Dark Fawful is a new and improved form of Fawful that he gains after absorbing half of the Dark Star's power, he is one of the last bosses in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its remake. In this Dark form, Fawful is granted greater powers and has a slightly different appearance. Dark Fawful has red glasses, a cloak that looks close to that was worn by Cackletta, and sometimes, a Vacuum Helmet that by the looks of it has a life of its own. Fawful stole the Dark Star from Toad Town Caves and broke the seal using Peach's power.
