Princess Peach aka Peach or Princess Toadstool is the main character in the Mario game series and the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. Peach made her first appearance in Super Mario Bros. and was created by Shigeru Miyamoto as a damsel-in-distress for Mario to save. Princess Peach lives in her castle with many servant Toads. Koopa Troops led by Bowser often attack her kingdom. Princess Peach is a very gentle and kind person, and that is highlighted by her love for the color pink. Princess Peach's initial design was meant to highlight her stubborn but cute appearance.
