The Shy Guys are iconic enemies of Italian plumber Mario in the Mario Game series. Shy Guys were first added in the American version of Super Mario Bros. 2 and after a pause in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. The Mario game series show us many variations of Shy Guys and many subspecies. A most common Shy Guy is a short fella, with a stocky build and stubby fingerless arms that usually wears a red robe with a loose flap on its back.
