Thru the Mario games, Yoshi made his way from a simple pixelated sprite to a fully drawn adorable 3D character that stars his own games in the Mario universe. Cute dinosaur Yoshi has many friends like Mario, Xyla, Pirto, Birdo. Yoshi often cares for Pirto because of his feelings for Birdo, and that brings the pair closer together. Yoshi and Birdo are often partnered together in games in the Mario Kart and Mario Party series. Yoshi also appeared in Pikachu's Final Destiny 2 where Pikachu and company can ride on him as a steed.
