Pokémon Lanturn also known as Rantaan is cute water and electric type Pokémon that evolves from Chinchou upon reaching level 27. Lanturn looks like a deep sea fish in periwinkle color. Pokémon Lanturn also has yellow spots on its tail and face and two glowing organs that allow it to see in its deep aquatic habitat. Lanturn was even nicknamed the Deep-sea Star for his antenna lights that produce enough light to be even seen from the surface when Lanturn swims deep in the ocean. The lower half of Pokémon Lanturn's tail has jagged edges. Pokémon Lanturn can produce light with bacteria living inside its orbs that consume bodily fluids and produce light in the process.
