Moomintroll also known as Fuumipeikko or Muumi in Finnish and Mumintrollet in Swedish is a main character in the Moomin books and anime television series Tales from Moominvalley of Japanese-Dutch production. Moomintroll lives in a Moominhouse together with his father Moominpappa and his mother Moominmamma. Moomintroll has lots of good friends in Moominvalley such as Sniff and Snorkmaiden, but his best friend is Snifkin. Moomintroll is very kind and well-meaning, however, he is rather emotional and tends to worry a lot and gets sad, but he has a keen spirit of adventure and often follows wherever his friends take him.
