Frogs are amazing cute little creatures that love to live near water sources like ponds and love to spend their time enjoying sunshine and singing. Frogs were the first land animals that had vocal cords. Male frogs have special vocal sacks, pouches of skin that fill with air and resonate sounds like a megaphone, and those sounds can be heard from a mile away. Frogs are freshwater creatures, although some frogs such as the Florida leopard frog are able to live in brackish or nearly completely salt waters. There are over six thousand known species of incredible-looking frogs and more are being discovered all the time, and many of them are adorable cute animals that make us smile, such as this one.
